STAmark
I’m delighted to inform you that AquaSchool has once again gained the highest level of distinction in the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) Kite Mark, the only nationally recognised quality assurance award that promotes safe practices in swimming, life guarding and the pool environment. We remain the only swim school in Wiltshire to have been awarded this level of accreditation. Thank you to all Swimmers, Parents and Staff for your support during the recent assessment process. Mini Gala

This term we are running our annual Mini Gala on Saturday 19th June, for all children in Improver 3 classes and upwards.

The Gala is being run primarily for the children to have fun but also to introduce them to a competitive situation. The whole event will be run in a relaxing way with every child receiving a certificate and lots of encouragement. The children, even if slightly reluctant at first, always love this event.

All the children will be asked to nominate their first and second choice favourite/best stroke. They will then be placed into races with similar ability swimmers rather than those necessarily of the same age group, so that everyone has a fair chance. We aim, wherever possible, to let them have a try in at least 2 races of different strokes.

Parents will be welcome to come and support the children on poolside and we would be very grateful for any volunteers to assist with tasks like marshalling, recording results, writing certificates etc.

30 minute classes - 10 weeks £70
45 minute classes - 10 weeks £90
Private classes are also available, with prices on request.

Points to remember:
Changing Rooms: In the interests of privacy all children over six must use the appropriate male/female changing rooms. This also applies to parents. Any parent wishing to accompany a child aged over six of the opposite sex into changing rooms is asked to use the disabled shower/toilet.

Adult Supervision:
Please can we remind you that a responsible adult must remain in the building at all times whilst your child is swimming. Parents/carers are not allowed poolside but are very welcome to watch from the viewing gallery alongside the pool.

Hats:
It is a requirement of the Godolphin pool that all swimmers must wear hats. We can supply them at a cost of £3.50.
