Aquaschool was formed in 2001 as a private swimming school run independently of the Godolphin School.

All Teachers are fully ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) qualified and hold additional life guard qualifications.

We strive to ensure that all children are happy and confident in the water whilst providing excellent quality lessons with small class sizes. Each child is treated as an individual and encouraged to reach their full potential in stimulating classes where maximum movement is encouraged.

Thanks to the continuing support of parents, we have grown substantially and are proud to hold the STAmark of Distinction, the only nationally recognised quality assurance award that promotes safe practices in swimming, life guarding and the pool environment. To learn more about the STAmark award, visit our STAmark page.

Summer Intensive Swimming Courses

Back by popular demand! An intensive course is a great way to really consolidate all that the children have learnt so far and also an opportunity for them to make great improvement whilst having FUN. You do not have to be a member of AquaSchool to participate in these courses.

Advanced - A 1 hour session for swimmers who are confident and able to swim 25m unaided with good style. This session includes stroke improvement, stamina, diving, starts and turns and basic survival skills. This class will be taught in deep water. Cost £70

Improver – a half hour session for those children who are just starting to swim or who have just taken their first unaided strokes. This is designed to improve the distance swum and introduce breastroke. Cost £45

Beginner – a half hour session for all non- swimmers taught with a high ratio of staff to children. This aims to improve water confidence and teach basic strokes. Cost £45

"Much care is given to ensure that children work in groups with children of similar abilities and standards." - STA
